I’ve talked about competition before. I once heard someone say if you are in competition with yourself you can’t lose. But you know you and you know your business. Do you know your neighbor?
Do you know that neighbor that writes in the same genre as you, lives in the same city as you and attends the same functions as you? If not, why? Some may say well I’m not a nosey person. It’s not about being nosey, its about knowing your surroundings.
My husband always talks to me about knowing your surroundings. So do you know your surroundings? If not, how do you plan to get to know them?
